James Harding and Gillian Townsley have drunk their way through every pub in Dunedin, in their quest to find the perfect venue for the Bible and Critical Theory Seminar next February. The venue will be The Bog, located on the corner of George and London Streets, Dunedin. Here’s a pic:
Remember, the due date for paper proposals is 31 December 2009. Proposals to James Harding (james.harding(at)stonebow.otago.ac.nz) or Roland Boer (roland.t.boer(at)gmail.com).
Update: Transport and Accommodation.

haha – it will be 2010 not 2009… Can you please tell me how to go about booking up? I’m back from New Orleans and figure it’s about time to start making flight arrangements. I would need to arrive a couple of days early, hopefully stay in the Bog, and swim and sleep before the seminar. I’d like to stay for both seminars but that means having accommodation through til the 12th or whatever when I’d fly up to Napier for a couple of weeks. How do we book, who do we pay and where can I stay?
It will be 2010 next year. Well spotted, Steph. I’ll ask Gillian to provide some booking details.
yup but I should have spotted it originally! And thank you.
will she include the second philoosophy and religious studies conference?
